Dr. Mishkin was my mother's doctor. He became my doctor after my mother passed away. I have several health conditions that I inherited from my mother. Therefore, Dr. Mishkin knew my history. I developed severe pain in my lower back that I told Dr. Mishkin about it. He referred me to have an X-ray. He told me that I have spinal stenosis. As time went on, the less I could walk. I told him about not able to walk long distance. He sent me for another X-ray. The same diagnosis came back. In the meantime, my condition worsened and kept exposing me to unnecessary radiation. When my family and I go to events or theme parks, I need to be in a wheelchair. I asked him if I could see an orthopedic doctor. He said no, you don't want all those needles in your spine or back. In the meantime, I can't walk long distance. I recently saw him. He said you have spinal stenosis. That was it and walked out of the room. I had to call a week to get a referral. In the meantime, I wasn't hearing back from his office. So, I called my insurance company for help. In the middle of a solution, I received a call from Sha'de Stewart, his manager, yelling at me stating she received a call from my insurance company. Sha'de was only concerned about his office getting marks against him instead of caring enough about my health and cries for help. (I am a disabled woman and I am 61 years old). Sha'de told me I have until January 1, 2025 to find another doctor. She went on to tell me that there are a lot more doctors out there. I smell retaliation against me. After my conversation with Sha'de, I felt abused by the way she was talking to me and treating me. There was never any conversations about working things out with me. There was never any communication about my health. The proper way is that she should have mailed a letter to me outlining the reason for "dismissing" me and giving me adequate time to find another doctor. There is a process and Dr. Mishkin and Sha'de didn't follow it. I never received such letter, as of today, December 21, 2024. Too late for letter. On December 5, 2024, someone in Dr. Mishkin's office told my insurance company, that I was "dismissed." So now, he abandoned me besides denying me medical treatment. I have prescriptions to refill and the referral they gave me is no good. When I changed doctors in a hurry, to make sure I had a doctor, the referrals became invalid. I would have to wait to see my new doctor in January (that's the new doctor's earliest appointment). My insurance company told me that, when changing doctors, it can disrupt or delay treatment. This after 20 years with the same doctor. I miss walking. I used to hike, walk miles to raise money for charities. I hope my new doctor's could help me walk again. It's not about what Dr. Mishkin did. It's about what he didn't do.

The Leather chairs and loveseats on the tv in the waiting room are quite nice, the examination rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. I usually don't wait very long to see him but then I don't see him for very long. I don't feel he spends enough time with me or truly listens to my medical problems. The woman who does the referrals waits until the very last minute to get your approval for a referral to another doctor, often forgets about it entirely, and gets mad when you call up on Monday to remind her that you have an appointment with another doctor on Thursday and it hasn't been approved yet. On one occasion, I was under treated by the physician's assistant when I had an acute lower respiratory infection and acute bronchitis. She knew I had COPD and undertreated me for pneumonia. The office kept telling me not to go to the hospital, don't call 911. 13 days after my illness started I was so sick I thought I was going to die on my kitchen floor. I did call 911 and was admitted to the hospital. The doctor yelled at me! Yelled at me. I yelled back at him. If I could find another male doctor who was white, spoke American english,. was several years younger than me and in a private practice I would change doctors. The only thing I really like about this doctor is that he is a dog lover. He used to be such a nice and efficient doctor I don't know what happened.

One of the best doctors I know. Very thorough with his examination and he's not in a rush, will spend the extra time to answer all your questions and address you're concerns about your health.

Dr. Mishkin is wonderful! One of the best doctors I have been to.

His office is modern & clean and he and his staff are super friendly, kind and professional.

He really takes the time to figure out what's going on with you and see how he can help. He has even called me personally to follow up to see how I'm doing. He really cares about his patients and doesn't try to rush you off.

Our whole family has been going to him for years and I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great doctor, not to mention a great person all around. Thanks for taking such great care of us!

They genuinely care about the wellbeing of each an ever patient. If you are looking for a Primary Care Physician Office that will truly have your back, you can not go wrong with Dr Mishkins Team! I highly recommend! Simply the BEST!!

I wish there was an option for zero stars. Staff is beyond rude. Staff argues back and forth and gets mad when you complain and then retaliate against you. They suck!
